Massage Therapy

We are now offering massage therapy here at Cranbourne Osteopathy.

Our massage therapist Leah has many years experience in the field and is going to be a wonderful addition to our team of osteopaths. Our osteopaths are excited to be able to prescribe in-house massage therapy that can be implemented as part of your treatment plan and boosting your recovery process.

Remedial Massage

Remedial massage is a targeted massage approach to address specific complaints or tension. If you have a particular muscle issue or are holding tension in a specific part of your body or you are suffering with a chronic, long term muscle problem, then a remedial massage may be just what you need. This type of massage is a firmer approach to body work so is excellent for those who are seeking deep tissue or sports massage. If you are in need of a remedial massage but prefer a firmer approach, just let your therapist know and they can tailor the massage to your preference.

Relaxation Massage

Are you feeling stressed or need to relax? A relaxation massage at Cranbourne Osteopathy is calling out your name. This approach to massage focuses on relieving tension throughout the entire body, rather than focusing on one specific problem area. Due to the nature of aiming to relax the body, this approach to massage is often a lighter massage than a remedial massage.

Pregnancy Massage

Our massage therapist also has additional training in providing massage safely and effectively during pregnancy. Pregnancy is a time when our body is changing so much in a short period of time and it is a common complaint that this causes some aches and pains, not to mention some sleepless nights and a racing mind as you plan for your upcoming arrival. Pregnancy massage can be tailored towards addressing specific complaints or assisting the body to relax, or a combination of both! Whatever you need.
