Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that can assist in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and complaints. Osteopaths focus on how all areas of the body function together as a wholistic unit and offer a client-centred approach to healthcare.

Osteopaths base their care on the following four principles:

  • The body is a unit; the person is a unit of body, mind, and spirit.

  • The body is capable of self-regulation, self-healing, and health maintenance.

  • Structure and function are reciprocally interrelated.

  • Rational treatment is based upon an understanding of above three principles.

Why choose Cranbourne Osteopathy?

Here at Cranbourne Osteopathy, we are really passionate about what we do and we love our job! Our osteopaths are always upskilling with both external courses and internal monthly CPD to share our knowledge amongst the team.

We strive to ensure each client leaves with an individualised treatment plan to address their presenting complaint. We have witnessed our allied health clinics falling short of helping their clients to understand their diagnosis and prognosis fully; we endeavour to change that because we know that if our clients understand and are on board with the treatment plan then we will achieve the greatest results together.

We understand that there are many factors that contribute to an injury or complaint and that these need to be considered to ensure we achieve the best outcomes for our clients. We also base our treatment plans on the above four principles to ensure a wholistic and total body approach to your complaint.

We always work together collaboratively with our clients to ensure each treatment plan is achievable and that our clients achieve their goals, whatever they may be!
